The age of your propety helps identify the construction methods and building materials used. You can find the year that your property was built on your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) report, if you have one.

If you live in Scotland you can find your EPC here.
If you don't have an EPC, you could find the details on your property deeds.
If you own your property, your survey or property report may tell you the age of the building.
